Giving a little back!
OK, so I can't code, but I do know about mobile phones. If you're a UK resident I'd be happy to set you up with half price line rental on T-Mobile UK... I work for the company and have the ability to sort it out for you. This applies to existing contracts as well as new ones [they have to be 18 month] - and it's for life! This isn't a sales pitch, I make nothing from it at all. I'm gonna limit it to five for now, on a first come first served basis - I don't want to become a slave to this thread with endless requests. I can work out some very nice PDA's exceedingly cheap if you're interested!
Oh, it's limited to releasers of hacks/vB.org staff at the moment! |

Normally I would bite your hand off at the chance of half price line rental but my current contract with 02 is not up until may or june of next year
I don't want to stay with 02, I only got it for the phone and benefits Chris |

Thanks for the thought, but I'm currently on a pre-paid plan and I don't live in the UK.

I'll be honest Chris, you're not going to get the most minutes for your money from T-Mobile. If you're calling on-network it's totally cheap, but we all know you call people on every network. Also, if you send hundreds of texts, it isn't going to be cost effective. But for great service, dirt cheap data usage and excellent customer service and for getting your hands on top notch PDA you can't go wrong, especially at half price forever! The benefit of accepting this half-price deal too, is that unlike a regular contract where you are restricted to a no tarrif cheaper than the one you begin on for 11 months, you are restricted for only 3! The offer will still be open when your contract runs to it's end, provided I still work there.
Danny, take a look at UFIX, at half price it'll give your PAYG a run for it's money. The rest of you guys, no probs on the offer. |

I can't wait until T-Mobile USA gets more phones like they do in the UK.

Yeah I take a look on the website sometimes, it's surprising how far behind they are. It seems crazy also that in the US you pay for your handsers on contract, and get your calls and plans dirt cheap - whereas your contract costs the earth here because it's bundled with a free phone. If you're interested in a PDA, see www.imate.com - it's one of those I have, and they don't cost much more in $ than your regular mobiles.

I like some of those. I've been waiting for T-Mobile to come out with some new wifi phones. So these will work on a T-Mobile USA account? And where are the prices on them? I can't find them.

Teen Mobile isn't the most popular cellular provider in the US, at least where I live.
Verizon and Cingular are the most popular 'round here. |
