I'm having the same problem, I've set the forum permissions but members can still see it as a locked forum.

Go to the actual forum settings and select the forum as hidden, then set up the user permissions.

in vb 2.x.x there was only the possibility to shape a forum as visible to the moderators and/or to the administrators but in the present version I don't see this option. where is it? :surprised: |

I've gone into the forum settings and I can't see anywhere to select the forum as hidden? In the forum manager it show an * next to the forum name. It is still showing up on my main forum though? Any ideas?
