Auto refresh specific pages

I see alot of topics about auto refresh, but nothing with a good answer...

How do i go about editting my site so it refreshes certain pages at certain intervals?

FOr instance, i would like to auto refresh my index and active topics every 2 minutes....but have NO clue how to do that...
