vBXirc Status Update!

I've started working on vBXirc Beta 1 today.

Will allow for multiple chats
(pjirc will still be the default, eirc is next on my list)
Moved permissions to usergroups
Moved to templates and phrases to the plugin system
Reduced ammount of templates drasticly.
As always XHTML valid templates.

I'm very glad to hear that; I suppose it wont give out info such as users online (where a few addons have been made for) untill it's using eirc? (Or maybe I've overlooked some of PJirc's features.)

Anyway, thanks for your work, I'll try to be the first to download it

As of this moment theres no way to track chat sessions.. I'd have to add some custom code and I'm going to avoid that in beta 1, might come out during one of the beta builds.

I suppose I could add a prefix_irc_chat sessions table and include some sort of iframe or ajax to update it self every so often to give a somewhat accurate account of whos in the chat.

Anyway beta build should be out shortly.

It would be great if it could adapt the forum style a little bit!

Its up, and it already assumes whatever style you're using.
