Force Certain Usergroup To Read Thread
Hello,
I know I have seen a hack for a 3.0x version of VB to force a new user to read a thread, like a forum rules thread, but what I am looking for is a bit different.
What I would like is to force a member of a certain usergroup to view a thread before they can post again, perhaps have the option to force them to reply as well. Something that can be set easily on the fly by the superadmin only.
My reasoning behind it is to be able to post new threads that contain criticle information for staff members, such as a change in rules, so they don't inadvertently ban someone for something we now allow. Of course, it could have several other useful applications as well.
My staff reads my stuff anyhow, but I do have a few other ideas in mind if this were an option.
