for some reason my forum creates links like board.site.com//index.php or //newthread.php, what could be the reason for this? and how can i fix it?

could be because i installed vbadvanced. i just dont know what could generate the double slashes. somebody give me a hint or something.

Check the board url in your vB options.

You probably added an extra / when you didn't need to in your vBulletin Options when defining the forum path etc.
