latest threads in a sidebar
My forum used to be on postnukes cms, which had a 5 recent threads list under the navigation menu on the left column, since i moved to vb this isnt there, and alot of my members are making a fuss over this...
I have sorted the html in templates for the sidebar, but I cant for the life of me, get any recent posts to show in there, any ideas? Thanks jon |

I'm also looking for the code to be able to do this. I don't think it's really a modifcation just the code to put into your web page. I'd be very greatful to anyone who could help Matthew |

Ive found a way with javescript but it adds a delay to the page load, simplest way would be via php but no php is allowed in the templates (and i dont have the knowledge on how to code the php somewere else, then to just call the output to display the latest threads)
im upgrading to 3.5 now so maybee the new hooks feature may be able to help me |
