SitePoint.com style forum index page
Hi,
What plug-ins or hacks should i need to install to have an index page like sitepoint.com or webmasterworld.com? So an index page containing: - the forum titles on the right - admin/mod selected articles on the left. Thx, |

Wow. thats interesting. Both are pretty much the same.
I'm sorry I can't help. I would like to know as well. I'm guessing its not a freely available hack though. Probably custom made by the site admins. |

Ok, if anyone can make this, e-mail me at info@eversite.com. I'm sure we can negotiate a price...

It'd be like the Featured Threads hack, but at the moment, it seems there's no 3.5 version of it

Erm....at the bottom of sitepoints index page theres a link "Content Management System using Editize" I think this is what you should be looking for

Incorrect. Editize is a Java-Application that allow you to add a fancy text editor to your CMS. You can cut and paste directly from MS Word using it. IMO, it's buggy and the support for it isn't that great.
I actually use it on one of my projects. It's decent. |
