I'd like to make a button on my forum that is similar to the new posts button, only instead of having it display the new posts since my last visit, have it display the last x number of posts, period.
I'm relatively new to vbulletin and have just about zero experience as far as coding goes. Would it take a lot to create such a link? |

If you click the arrow next to the last poster on forumdisplay, it starts the browser page from the new posts since someones last visit.

From work, I go onto my forum a few times a day and I don't get a chance to read every post, which I like to do to be involved in all facets of the board. But sometimes I can't sit there and read every new post that has been posted in the two or so minutes I have to read them. I figure if there was a way to just list the last 50 or 100 posts without having to worry about when I last logged in that it would prevent me from having to go through my 30 categories looking for something I may have missed. |

I just clicked on newposts on this board. There was about a page and a half of new posts since my last visit, then there was the following line:
The threads below have not been updated since your last visit but still contain unread posts. I like it. Where can this be added to my board? I think it will satisfy the original question I had. |
