Google sent me a warning about mass mailings that I have sent out from my VB software. In my messages I supply a link to the User Control Panel so users can unsubscribe themselves. Someone sent a message to Google saying that I sent unsolicited mail and that they had to log in before they could unsubscribe. The only way they could have recieved the email from me if they didn't subscribe themselves is if their ISP reissued the username or if someone else in their household registered.
I explained the situation to Google. They told me to remove the Google ads from the User Control panel and login and registration pages. I have my Google code in the Header. How can I remove the ads just from the CP and the Login pages?? TIA, Rick |

You can do a conditional statement

There has been previous discussion about hiding the ads on pages forbidden by google, i think the solution is to use a conditional to check if the page is acceptable. Search is your friend ![]() |

I did search. Not one relevant thread that I found. And if I knew anything about conditionals I wouldn't be asking here... Thanks anyway.

I wrote one little mod for 3.0.x that doesn't show the ads in private forums that you have to log in to view. That helps a bit. Basically, you just use the THIS_SCRIPT conditional to restrict it to the pages you want it on.
