I am looking to run a cron job (daily) to auto prune thread titles. I do not want to remove the post or prohibit a user from posting on my site, but I would like to strip certain words from thread titles.

For Example, I want to be able to remove the word woot from every thread title on my board. The thread/post can stay, I just dont want that particular word in the title.

Is this possiable?

Wouldnt it be better to run a filter at time of thread creation? I think that would be far more efficient.
