Hey friends,

I'm part of a large forum where mass mailing members causes a problem with the server: sendmail exceeds the capability of the CPU and slows it down far too much to be practical.

My idea was to find a way to do a mod so that the mass mail can be handled on another server since there is one available to the forum owner.

Any good ideas on how to do that?

Yes, just let vB generate a list of mail addresses instead of sending th mail out direct. Then use any mail client to sent it.
