hello, i have a question, it may a be a few parts long but here goes..

my site i have the skin savage sun, and b4 i upgraded i have an arcade,portal, statistics, chat box..

i'd like to take forum my database only the parts i need, and insert them in a new skin.. the default vB skin..

okay my questions are this...

can i simply get from the DB the users,usergroups, forums,threads,post, and pm's DB and insert them on a fresh board ?

Or should i try and uninstall the arcade,portal, stats.. first and then just upload the new style to my current board,, that being the default vb style..
