I need to set a different post requirement for each forum which will dissallow new posts in that specific forum until the user has this many. I tried search the vb3.5 modification forums, but search.php isn't working atm.

You can do that with Usergroup Permissions and Promotions, no need for a Hack.

This is true, but it would be much easier with a hack. I don't want to deal with having several different usergroups and promotions.
