Anyone using VBridge?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone was using vBridge to bridge their mambo site with Vbulletin? I am currently trying to use it, I have run in to the following problems. If anyone could offer some advice I would really appreicate it.
Last night I tried installing the Vbridge, and everything except the last 2 steps worked out for me. After I installed the vBridge Mod Login everything was NOT green, it still showed as NOT INSTALLED. When I downloaded the Zip fie, I noticed that there was 2 different mod_ zip files; Quote:
I tried installing each one, but it didn't make a difference it still showed as NOT INSTALLED My next question was this; the very last step is "Replacement Mambo Files" My question is what do these do, and where exactly do I have to put them? My last issue was this, after I got stuck on these last 2 steps and didn't go any further, I got logged off my admin session, (timed out) When I went to go log back in, I couldnt log back into my site, both the site itself and the admin part of my account. I ended up re-installing the back up of my db and that corrected the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and if i start again, what exactly do I have to do to complete this install? Do I have to start over, or can i just continue where I left off? Thanks all, and sorry for the long post, trying to give all the details. Griffinzx10 |

nope, too much trouble. too much stuff that just doesn't work the way i'd like it too. for example your users need 2 seperate profiles. because the info from vbulletin cant be shown on the mambo profiles. atleast when i last checked the software.
