Subforum Announcements
Is there anyway to put an announcement at the top of the subforums?

I do think it looks odd to have announcements under them.
Especially if the sub forum doesnt have and posts in it (like if used as a sub-category) Know that doesnt help - Just giving you moral support |

Lol thank you. I have set up a basic classifieds section on my site and really I need to be able to add some rules to follow for it at the top so they are obvious and seen by all that use it.

Did anyone figure out how to do this? I am wondering the same thing... and as opposed to starting a new thread.....
I was able to put the announcebits code in the sub forums code. Look for: <td class="vbmenu_control" id="forumsearch.subforums"><a href="search.php?$session[sessionurl]f=$foruminfo[forumid]">$vbphrase[search_this_forum]</a> <script type="text/javascript"> vbmenu_register("forumsearch.subforums"); </script></td> and then add this below: </if> <if condition="$show['forumslist']"> <table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]" border="0" width="100%" align="center"> $announcebits </if> It worked for me: http://www.collegesportssource.com/f...isplay.php?f=2 |
