I can't find it on these forums, but I'm sure that it exists. I'm looking for a hack which give users the option to tell which version they're using of some kind of software, to a thread (not to their profile!).

This forum is using it too, in the hacks section.

For example:

[vB 3.5 RC2] Name of the thread
