Forcing Words Longer Than x Characters to Break Apart
It's the same thing that vBulletin does basicaly. You can set it so that if someone types in one-hnudred characters without a space, it forces a space after the x amount of characters. I am looking for a way to do this, and I am not able to find the code to do so.
Basically, I have a submission form that I allow users to use. This has no affiliation with vBulletin. Then, the problem occurs when it's listed out in my admincp. Some of the people enjoy using periods instead of spaces. Hello.My.name.is.John.What's.your.name? When they type fifty paragraphs, it's about a million pixels wide. Please help me or point me in the right direction. Like I sad, I use an html/php submission form. Whether it be via MySQL or something that goes in the form, I need to do something. Thank you. |

Take a look at the www.php.net/substr function
