Alrighty then.

http://www.nzboards.com - Pretty graphical header and sidebar and a bit of a tweak of the Steel Blue style.

What do you think?

I like this new graphical header. However I can't help but feel that the white space above the header is wasted and un-needed.

The sidebar is fine.

I am looking at the evil white line now...it is pretty much nothing, taking up space.

Perhaps I could reduce the size of the logo portion so it all fits under the line under the white space... yes. That will do nicely. The other option - 'Add something useful there' sounds a bit too much like hard work.

This design has the potential to be very nice looking, refer to the picture below, I noted out some stuff that could help out in this process. Good job with it.

I have ALWAYS liked your site kall, it is a GREAT design job A+..other than the unclear buttons at the top, I think its damn near perfect for your site .

Header is busy and it takes up a lot of space.

Overall, I like the new design--I didn't like the colors and BIG ICONS before. It was a IN-YOUR-FACE which was not needed.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS
  1. background header image and logo should appear as one
  2. the top links are REALLY BAD
  3. 2 LOGIN sections on main page -- all this does is confuse the viewer
  4. fix the block headers (I attached an image of the siderbar headers.)
  5. I suggest sticking to one layout and refining that layout

In all honesty it feels a mess compared to the old nice purple style which worked well for you.
