Don't know if this has been done, but we use the Notes on the profile page as sort of a guestbook. Would it be possible to send the member a notification via PM or email when they receive a new one?

Hehe, I am doing the same on our Production Board (3.0.X).

But it kinda sucks.
I think i'll have to implement a real guestbook script.

Yes, I made it a User Option (PM Notification on new Guestbook entry Yes/No)
