Hi guys

i had a look on a few boards and all such as www.namepros.com at the bottom there is a private forum which allows users to send private messages to a staff in which it seems that a new thread is created viewable by mods only

anyone know what hack that is

It doesn't take a hack. It's the creation of a forum with the permissions set in such a way that only the thread creator and the staff can see the thread.
