User can only reply to thread one time.

Is there any hacks out there that make it so a user can only reply to a thread one time? In a cerain forum on my site, I need it so a user can only post one time per thread, if they try to post again they get a message saying they already replied to that thread. Is there an easy way to do this? Thanks.
