Linking calendar events to posts

Hello,

I'm just about to move over from SMF, and the calendar plays a big part of my website...

How do i simply link events in the calendar to threads on my forum??
So that when you click on an event, it takes you to the post on my forum, and not a seperate calendar post??

I use the calendar to advertise events, and then simply talk about them in my forum..

How do i do this i vBulletin? i dont want to hold any posts in my calendar, just put links on there advertising the date of the event.... This is how it was with SMF :surprised:

Can anyone help me change my calendar so this happens??? :ermm: :ermm:
