Ya know since you guys have merged..I was thinking up an idea

. Ya know, I am not quite great at php yet, but I do like messing with templates alot ( working on 3rd template hack ) you think you guys can come up with a coder tag for the template coders

. Ya know the regular hack developers ( amy, satan, Paul, Livewire, marco..all them ) have coder tags, well ya know people that release just simple template edits should be awarded for there work in templates...just a thought :-D. I am not that worried about me cause I am working on my php hack now

...but for MANY others, it might be a very good idea

..

Us coders would like it to stay the way it is now, just to show that a designer is way below a coder.

Just kidding, think it is a very good idea and it has been on my mind a few times before. I only think that we should have a double title then, a coder range and a designer range (normal, advanced, expert,....)

I say this is a terrific idea, lets people know template mods are still worthy of some sort of title. ^^;

Hehe yea, I am still learning php and I know alot of people still are ( but learning fast :-D ) so this will give them something to play with

what about folks that are good at both? Would they have to choose which title they want or would they get both?

yep.. I noted that after I replied. regarding my name - my teenage kid picked it out when I signed up here, so I am stuck with it, and it would not have been my first nick choice!

I told him to sign me up as yoyo, but since that was already taken he just tagged another yoyo at the end...
