think i can bother someone to answer this ?
its really frustrating to see this up a week and no one even atempt to answer it :ermm: you'd think for 100$ a year i could get osme help here.. you know it's crap like this that makes me reconsider keeping vB when my year is up. i have posted questions about IPB at invasion.com and been answered within HOURS !! and i just have the trial ipb. why can't i get the same or better support with vb ???????? i'm sure the answer to my question is an easy find, i don't have the time right now to look it up, for some REason i just figured vb.org could answer it quickly, sadly its been a week and not even a responce ps. I'm sure I'll get called soem name for this thread, or I'll get some smart a@s replying to me. i don't care. i Have had some great support here in the past, but it has Always taken some time to get any answers.. unless ofcorse i offered $,, seems thats all anybody see's with vB |

First, lose the attitude.
Support for your vbulletin product is generally handled at www.vbulletin.com, not here. This is a site for hacks an modifications. Second, the welcome phrase is located in the Language and Phrases area of the Admin control panel as described in the manual you received access too at vbulletin.com with your $100 purchase which you haven't bothered to check. |

Sorry but you don't adopt an attitude because you don't get your question answered, it will make people less inclined to help you. |

Sorry but changing the text on a template is not a modification, but standard functionality.
One ore thing i like to add, for the money you paid for vB you are entitled to support by Offficial Jelsoft Staff, using the official channels (priority support ticket, vbulletin.com forums). vBulletin.org is however ran totally by volunteers that are not paid by Jelsoft, nor will they ever see 1cent from your 100$. Making this claim here at vb.org, is really not fair to this community and the members that put a lot of their free time into helping others. |
