Your question was very badly phrased. How do they work and a bazillion exclamation points means nothing. Be specific. Do you mean how do you use them? Do you mean how does the code work? WHAT are you asking?

Hi Gio~
Your question was perfectly understandable from where I am sitting. Try first looking for an explaination in the vB manual that is available over on vB.com Then try a search over on vB.com for anything to do with public usergroups. If all else fails, ask over on vB.com as you are very more likely to get some more professional-type responses/help. Good luck! Cheers, ~Regs. |

Thank You Regs,
What i mean is how do they work. For example, how would a user request to be part of a group? how can a group leader simply add the user to his/her group? is it possible to list all group members in a group on different page? |

Once there are Joinable Groups, the users will see a new link 'Group Memberships' In their UserCP menu. Quote:

there is no way for the leader of the group to add someone to his group himself? their has to be a link or something like http://www.hiphopground.com/forums/p...ups&add=USERID .... something like that?

No. The group leaders can't coopt the member and add them to a group. You, as admin, can in the control panel.

Why a Group Leader should be allowed to force someone into a public group? That goes against the idea of the public groups. People must want to join.
