Dark backgrounds on light tables aren't a favourite of mine.

I think your postbit also needs a nice visible table border around the outside of the posts.

Otherwise, very nice.

Pretty nice layout..

I would only change a few things. The footer at the bottom being the same color as the background kind of throws it off a bit. In my opinion, there are too many dashed borders. There are also a few places where the dashed borders are doubling up.

One more thing that I would change is the default vB buttons/icons.
Overall, nice job.

Looks good, man. I'd give it a 7/10. The dotted-line is a nice addition to the lightly-toned style. The way the white/brown vary, you'd think it would be bad - but it's so subtle, that it's not ruined. It's a really nice style. Really.

although I recommend a border or color to separate forums and threads

watch what you install and what you modify ... some of the code (html) is sloppy
