|||||||||||||||||||||||||
ok, everything goes great, until I get to the edit templates part. I do the part that supposidly makes the warn user and view warnings show up on every one of my styles, when I go to the post, low-and behold, it's not there. I did everything it told me to..everything else works, but that.

If you are using more than one styles, you have to apply the changes to the postbit/postbiot_legacy templates, in every style. Do the links/buttons appear in the public profile of your users?

I did it for all styles, and in all styles, but it's not working.
No, it's not showing up there either. I can do it from the ACP's too. On the other forum, it showed up fine next to the posts. I just dont get why it's not showing up next to the post. Edit: The buttons show up in the profile...just not the post...any ideas? |

Check the changes in functions_showthread.php. If the buttons do not appear, and everything else is OK (i.e. the warner is an admin/mod/smod, and the user is not in a protected group), then it's probably the functions_showthread.php that you didn't edit.

If the buttons do not show up in postbit, then check the following files:
showthread.php functions_showthread.php Also, make sure that you have entered the proper options in admincp and save them. Make sure that you are an admin or a moderator and that your user is not in a protected usergroup. |
