I help with a vB site that is going to install this hack. I beleive that 5, 6, 7 ARE moderators, supermods, and admins. But what I want to know is there a way that we can give other warn abilities to other groups?

Yes, if you have additional groups for admins, supermods or mods, you can define them in the hack. And No, you cannot have groups which are neither admin/smods/mods, unless you use the non-hierarchical form.

So I'd have to allow mods to warn admins to allow the other mod groups to warn. OK than.

In Non-Hierarchical, mods/smods/admins cannot warn mod/smods/admins. All these groups are protected.

I thought that was the Heirachle way. So if I don't use it this will happen:

5 6 7 can't warn each other but groups 9 10 11 can also warn but they can warn each other. is that correct. (9 10 11) made up on spot.

I am not sure I understand you.

In Hierarchical:

Admins can warn anybody except other admins.
Smods can warn anybody except admins and other smods
Mods can warn anybody except admins, smods and other mods

In Non-Hierarchical:

Admins/smods/mods can warn all other groups except those of admins, smods, mods.

What you asked is "is there a way that we can give other warn abilities to other groups?". It would be better if you could explain to me in a few words what do you mean by that.

By "is there a way that we can warn abilities to other groups" I meant I want to give other groups who are mods (we have leads and teams) The ability to warn. But I like the Hierarchial Shceme but if other groups can't warn I don't want to use it.

If you have other groups which are moderators, just add them in the Moderator Usergroups. They will be able to warn users in their forums, but not smods or admins.

Admins and smods can still warn those mods groups though.

That's what I said, they will be equal (functionality-wise) to the standard moderators group.
