Template help

[Mythotical]

I am trying to use images for my category strip, I have a left image, a center image, and a right image, how do I add that in and get rid of the default category strip? One example would be the armada style found at cinvin.com

I will attached a screenshot to show you what I am talking about.

I think you can get that effect by editing the forumdisplay template and then added two more columns with new classes...

Do you know the code exactly, if you can give me the jist of the code, I can go from there. I don't want to get it wrong and keep being wrong.

ok this is my forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost template, the left and right are images, use a background image for the center (talking about your attachment). edit the images in my code properly so that it will show off

What version of vb are you running? I have 3.0.7 so trying to compare my template with yours would be impossible if its any other version. I will try to add your code tho. I thought I would have to edit ForumHome, ShowThreads, ShowGRoups, threadbit, MemberInfo, MemberHome for this to work right.

I used 3.0.7 and that code is not the default vb3 so I don't think you can compare those 2, I just use it for the customize you want like the attach you gave, of course it's only for forumhome categories, others need more modifications on templates

Oh ok, let me reinstall the default template then get back to you with that. But if you know what templates and how to edit, please direct me.

OK I will give it a try tomorrow then, need to get some sleep, 5 am here right now.

Ok tried it, put the images below my forums, not where I want them, I want to replace the regular background color with my own images.
