Hi all

I have been haveing a horrible time trying to get vB Index set up with a skin that I have on my forum. I have one skin that I purchases privately that was pre set up with all templates used with vB Index so all I had to do was install vB Index and it all worked. I then installed another skin from vBNL. I installed the skin, ran the vB Index install again and the images show up for that skin, but not for that style when viewing vB Index, I checked and triple and checked agaian and again that the images were in the correct paths, yet they don't show for the portal. I'm giving up. Anyone know of any better portals? I do mean portal and not a CMS.

If you're looking for a straight-forward portal check out http://www.vbadvanced.com for a free one that's pretty nice with good support (and there is almost no effort in getting skins to work with it).

That's what I ended up using. Images were still a slight problem but I ended up getting them to show. Now I'm pretty happy!
