Is there a way to make that column wider? It looks rather ugly now, because everything is so crumpled up together.

Yes. All you have to do is change the width % to a fixed width. Have you installed any category spacing mods, or forum cell under category mods? This alters the placement of the template code you need to edit.

No, i have not installed anything like that.
I know how, in theory, no increase the width of that column, I just have no clue, what templates I need to edit.
