Ok you posted the wrong link, it should have been www.x-sector.net/index.php
Anyways i cant remember exactly what i did. You can do either 2 things. Right click on your missing images and choose properties, this way it wil show you where its trying to find the image, in your case for example--- http://www.x-sector.net/images/neXus...op_profile.gif So you can either create a folder in your images folder names neXusGREEN and chuck all the images you want in there. Orrrrr, Edit your portal's templates and wherever there is a image link involved, change where its looking to the right place. Sorry if this is confusing you, If it is say how and ill try to explain better. |

Its worked, I had replace all the header & footer templates to $header and $footer and l fixed all the images.
www.x-sector.net/index.php Anyway, the little problem l got is.. all the similes and icons on my portal isn't showing up because they are linking wrong. For example..... www.x-sector.net/images/wink.gif its a wrong link, so how do l change it to http://www.x-sector.net/forums/image...GREEN/wink.gif same as icons aswell. How do l edit like that in the admin cp? thx again. |

Erm i cant remember exactly anymore, as i said i no longer use portal systems.
What i did at the time to fix this problem though, is create the place it is linking to and put the images AGAIN there (Dont remove the images from where they were leave them there still). So in your case just make a folder in your public html named images, and throw the images into that folder. That will sort it out for now until i remember how to do it properly |

Actually i believe i did something like this-- Bare with me
Lets say the theme i was using was called Purple yet in the FRONTPAGE template, all images are beeing linked to by something like errm {imageshome}/newreply.gif I went into my admin control panel and scrolled down the left hand side too REPLACEMENTS and clicked ADD. From the replacemt set option i chose PURPLE because thats the style i was using, in the code to find i placed {imageshome}, and on the code to insert, i typed in the link to the images for example---- Say my images were located at http://www.blahblah.com/forum/images/purple I would type in the code insert -- forum/images Hopefully i didnt confuse you too much, and hopefully it works for you. If not let me know and ill have to help you further |

I know this isnt the fix your looking for, but for now go into your admin panel and into Vbulletin options, then go to the front page area, and turn of the options to display Smilies on front page, and Post icons.
That should kill off the red x's till i remeber how to fix it Soz |
