*Not sure if this is the best forum for this - please move if not*

I'm asking this to find out who all are at the top of the pile for vB skin and site design.. I'm talking about the full package.. Install, hack, skin & cutting.. From start to finish and really custom.

I've used C-pr0mpt before and know he is talented but would also like to know who else is out there doing heavy customization.

The reason I am asking is I am ready for my own v3 for one of my sites and want to go all out. We're averaging about 700 new members and 21,000 posts a month. Members are donating and when the RC version hits I want to re-do the entire site. If it takes a year for RC to hit like public beta, maybe I'll use 2x.. ??

Some of the scripts I am running, or will be needing installed into the site/community:
vB3 (Forums)
PhotoPost (Photo Gallery)
In-Link (Links/Directory)
HiveMail (WebMail)
PerlDesk (Help Desk for members)

I will also need a number of hacks installed once they are updated for vb3.

All of those scripts you have listed can be installed for you easily, along with hacks for vB3.

Yet the ones he's mentioned are all created by ravio, except for Blizzforums. So he isn't giving much scope for what he likes.

There are many style sites around, which are run and made by talented designers. Have a look around. Sites such as vbulletinstyles.com and vbtdesign.com etc.

I really think you should wait until the gold release of vb3 though.. there are going to be changes and youll have to hire the designer again to convert it to the new version

I'd just get it figured in as part of the deal. I wouldn't think it would be too hard for a designer to convert a style but maybe it is. Don't know.
