Butons - Point me in the right direction

Help, I down loaded a set of Saintdog buttons of about 58 files. When I look at my server control panel there is about 100 gifs in the image folder. Quite a difference! Am I on the right track? Would someone please advise where I can go to get some help to chnage these button colors? I had tried to follow the PS7 directions in the vb forum and I am stumped, so I went this route and I am not sure of what I am doing? I thought how lucky I am to find these premade color button sets, but now I am stumped again because of the big difference in the numbers. Would someone please - Point me in the right direction? TIA

Im no good with photoshop so ill let someone else handle thoese questions. As for the button set, it is released as is, all buttons should have been included. Some images like spacer.gif may not have been included because there was nothing to edit, the same can probbly be said for alot of the misc images. At any rate you should wait for saintdog to reply to this thread. Also if you provide a link to the thread where you downloaded the set it will be very helpful.

You know, You have got me thinking DuH. Thanks. There are a lot of files like the smiles and other that would not require any color change.
I figure that would make up for a lot of the difference in the number. But I will wait and see what others hav to say about this. Thanks

Well after several upload attempts that failed because there was a lock switch that prevents uploads option. I finially discovered it and then zoom zoom the upload and rewrites went perfectly. Thanks to SaintDog and you all with your encouragement.
