Probably the main point of banning free-based e-mails is so it's harder to register many e-mails to get back into vBT if you are banned etc.
AOL may not be free-based, but maybe some of the e-mail bans aren't based on the fact they are free. |

Yes, and I can say a fair bit of members have been banned from vBT. It's not actually your idea trouble-free community but offenders and prosecuted and fast they are.
