i saw this in a hack and i was wondering if this was possible without hacking?

i have 3 user groups.

1. TSF-Staff (admin)
2. TSF-Advisors (supermods)
3. TSF-Members (members)

i wanted to make each group a diffrent color, but that same color for that specific group in my legend in the who`s online page, and my forum home. and then show the names of the members in that color. pretty much just like here but also show it in the online page.
