I have a really cool idea that I think could produce one hell of a template mod. I call it "template construction".
Here is the concept: I start editing a template making moids ect. Then someone else adds on to what I have done then someone else adds on to that persons etc. good idea? |

I don't get it, so you make a mod and we 'add on'? What can we add on to a mod if you've already done it?

Basicly we get 6 modders toghter for example. set up a vBulletin everyone has acess to, and we all add-on code to it. at least thats what i read when i skimed over it.

But wouldn't that be more of a style, if it was released? Or we could document every change. Sounds like a okay idea.

I agree with Tony, it sounds more like a style rather than a 'Template Constructor'

It would be a living hell for those of you used to the professional way of doing things a la SourceSafe's check in/check out.

Keeping track of all modifications could be a hassle too...

That's what I mean. Not a good idea IMO, just have everybody release stuff. Also somebody would have to pay for the license to comply with the licensing rules since we can't have a publicly accessible testvb.
