I was just thinking, why not hav a shoutbox here at vBT? that way, ppl would get online help with t.mods etc. Just a though btw.

I doupt that will happen, a shoutbox is just asking to be spamed. Thats why i do not run one. Also as far as support gose it wouldent work with some futuer plans SD has.

Agreed. Also (no offense to those who use Shoutboxes) but most sites with them are just chat areas with no clear target audience, which vBT is not.

Finally it's a hack and SD says he won't install unnecessary hacks. And no, don't ask me to port it to phpinclude

i dont like shoutbox's, cause they take away from the forum....and are always full of spam.

Don't like the idea, if you need help with template mods just post in the forums. It's the most economical way of getting you help.

shoutboxes are meant for spam, not help. why would you EVER ask for help in a shoutbox...lol all it does it get useless posts, with all the smilies (like over at PJ)
