It seems Like my Advertising Skills IS NOT like it used to be

Anyone got Any Ideas in generating Members? Affiliates, do they work?

Sig advertising (I even get a trickle of registrations from here) and most importantly good Google ranking. A good domain name and rewriting forumhome's <title> tag shot me up to #2 (and now I think #1) on Google for "web design forums" and on the first page of results for "design forums".
