Which Template
Quick question. Can anyone tell me which template affects the way all templates are displayed? Sort of the master template maybe? I want a particular table to surround all post bits and forum information sort of like the lighter colored rounded box you see at coderforums.net. Thanks.

Actually I went fiddling around with the showthread template and I could only make changes to the pages that display posts and not the upper level pages. Is there a template that makes changes to all pages universally, or even a template that makes changes to all pages but the homepage? Or, do I need to make changes to many different templates. Sorry if I sound ignorant, it's probably because I am. Thanks.

Most templates won't edit more then one page. Thats why they are grouped in forumhome, postbit etc. They edit those areas of the vB.
