Glowing Names
Anyone reckon they would know how to knock up a template version of the glowing names hack? The idea of this mod is that as peoples post count rises, their name glows a different colour ie when their title is 'noob' its green, when theyre promoted to junior member at 50 posts its blue, senior its orange etc etc.
I believe it to be down right swell. |

This is a hack at vB.org.
You can however slightly edit my coloured usernames mod, and replace it with a glow tag. So users can have thier own glowing name. If you want that, ask me. But what you're asking for is a hack at vB.org, Ill fetch a link for you |

Well, if you don't allow custom titles, you could do this via template edits. The user titles allow for html code, so you could change the color, size, etc of the title in the Admin CP.
I posted a template mod for using stars in user titles that could be helpful in learning how to make this change [link]. So, you could use the following code as an example for the "noob" title on your board. <font color="blue">n00b</font> Hope that helps! |
