This could be a good feature, however it appears to only be half implemented here. Is there anyway to get the Mods installed listed in our user control panel? Otherwise it doesn't really serve a purpose.

Not a bad idea, I will have to speak with FireFly about that, since this is his hack, I am sure there is some way it could be done though.

If you look at vBulletin.org, that functionality is available there so it is possible.

I'm guessing that has some file editing though, SD did you want any file editing for vBT?

@Tony: I have been trying to keep it minimal, but that hack does let other developers know their installation stats, so it does help .

Well, to be honest, there are few hacks here at vBT, those that only increase the ability to participate or make things easier for others are use. vBT is and always will be a template modification community with as few hacks as possible, hence the name .

I've only seen Quick Reply and Install/Un-install that are possible hacks.

A few on the admin side, but that it all, most everything else I remember doing is and was done from the Admin CP and FTP (uploading the images).

Well it would need a new table in the database. Copying the subscribedthread table would work without the data. Then you simply have to copy the functionality for subscription in member2.php and change the table name to the new install table. You could even put the copied code in its own file so upgrades don't mess with it.

I am pretty sure how Firefly did it but have never looked into it in depth.
