where do I go to get rid of these spaces?

if they are images for the bg of your cats....you might want to try trimming the images. otherwise...im not sure

No, it's part of the cell spacing but I dont know where.

forumhome_level1_nopost or something like that.

Remove any spaces you may have under all the code for the Forum, Threads etc. header.
