Well, you could add some extra tags in your css file. For example, you could have <smallfont> for one color and <smallfont2> for another color.

That would do the trick for sure.
When you say my css file do you mean the cp.css file? What should I put in this to sort a differant color for smallfont2? Thanks for all the help. |

Well, the easiest would be to simply create a new css entry. In your "headerinclude" template, you could include the following:
NEWFONT {BACKGROUND: none; FONT-FAMILY: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000} Then in your code you can use <newfont> as a tag for a black font. Remember, you'll need to add other elements, such as font size, etc. Hope that helps! |

Here's the code example for that. Add a new set of styles in your header, and you can also have seperate colors for the links, and hover:
.leftcolumn { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10px; color: #000000} .leftcolumn a:link { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10px; font-weight: bold; color: #000000} .leftcolumn a:active { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10px; font-weight: bold; color: #000000} .leftcolumn a:visited { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10px; font-weight: bold; color: #000000} .leftcolumn a:hover { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10px; font-weight: bold; color: #FF0000} Then its just a <font class="leftcolumn"> THE TEXT</font> of the text you want. This is the code for the left nav links at www.shivasite.com if you need a example. |

I cant get it to work.
All I need is an alternate link color that can be used anywhere on the forum. This alternate link should be white and the hover color red. Im a noob at this. What should I put in the headinclude template and how would I use the alternate link rather than the standard? Your forum looks really cool by the way shiva. Must of taken weeks to get it looking like that. ![]() |

Do this:
1. Go to your headerinclude template in your Admin Control panel 2. Search for Code:
.thtcolor { COLOR: {tableheadtextcolor}; } Code:
.new { COLOR: red; } 5. Save Changes 6. Go into any template and change the start of any link tag, aka <a href=> to the new class to see the new color Code:
<a class="new" href=...> |
