I also wanted to do this, and finally got around to do it. It is included in my design & tweak the frontpage temp mod, which can be found on this site here I think it is great to include this below the category title. This should be a default in vB future versions.

Hmmm... I followed the instructions to the letter but the category header cell did not appear under the other categories on my forums.

Any ideas why?
