I've done a 3.5.0 beta plugin, but there is no sign of it on the homepage "Latest Hacks" - is this a bug, or am I missing something obvious ?

We removed it when we were testing out the beta forums, but now that it's out, the bug fix is now a bug.

Strange but true.

Hehe, maybe the portal code should just check permissions to avoid such things in the future

While we are talking about 3.5 and the homepage - will a "hottest hacks" section appear at some point ?

as you can see, it does work as it should

it was just because the portal page is cached to avoid queries, and the cache is updated every hour, and not immediatelly after a release
