Need help ASAP please

OK if you go to www.pbnation.com You will see they have side bars, with ads on the site and a top bar for ads. How do you do this. What templates do you edit. Please help me.

there's a hack for sidebars somewhere around here, just search for it. It started out for 2.0 but it still works on 307
