I have a really simple mod I need.
I need to move the "Whats Going On?" section from the bottom of a forum to the top just under the "Welcome" section which is under the header.
I already tried this in the "FORUMHOME" template. I cut and paste from the <!-- what's going on box --> to the <!-- end what's going on box --> and moved it above the <!-- main --> $forumbits <!-- /main --> After I did that it showed up fine, as soon as I logged out and back in it changed. What am I missing? |

You need to make that template change in both of your styles

Ok, so we use a template from extremepixels.com so change that one, and the Default, and any other template installed, or used?

Right, anytime you make a template change it needs to be applied to every style you have installed.

Well, that would make since if I want the template change to take affect on all templates, but in this case I dont. We just use the one template. And how would other templates make this template reverse the changes after logging out and back in?

You made the change to your firmanent style. I can see it there. You didn't make it to your default style.
So, if you logged in, changed your style and then checked your template changes, it appears. But, if you log out and then log back in, it reverts to the style that you have set in your usercp. So, if the change isn't made in THAT style, you won't see it. |
