Better Similar Threads Placement

open showthread.php and before

PHP Code:

eval('$similarthreads = "' . fetch_template('showthread_similarthreads') . '";');

put

PHP Code:

$similar="1";

In showthread template, right before

</tr>
</table>
<!-- / toolbar -->

put

PHP Code:

<if condition="$similar==1"><td class="vbmenu_control"> <div id="similar" class="vbmenu_control"><a href="#similar">Similar Threads</a> <script type="text/javascript"> vbmenu_register("similar"); </script></div></td></if>

and replace

$similarthreads
<br />

with that

PHP Code:

<div class="vbmenu_popup" id="similar_menu" style="display:none">
$similarthreads
</div>

Dude, please fix that post, I like your idea, but I can't read it.

Why can't you read it? I am reading it without my glasses

Replace your quote tags with PHP tags...and put PHP tags around every piece of code you have. It will make it more readable.

IE...

PHP Code:

eval('$similarthreads = "' . fetch_template('showthread_similarthreads') . '";');

Very nice idea BTW. :up:

I've been rebuilding my site all day. With the mismatched code tags it made me cross eyed. But I'm installing it.
